I’m Shannon, a New England wedding photographer with over 10 years of experience, capturing timeless and meaningful wedding day moments throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York. Inspired by history, New England charm, Impressionist art, and classical architecture, my approach blends storytelling with style, focusing on personalities, emotions, relationships, and details that make each wedding unique. With qualities like receptiveness, reliability, and enthusiasm, I create an effortless, enjoyable experience for couples, while remaining resourceful and creative. Home is where the heart is when I am not out celebrating with my couples. My husband, two little boys, and a Doberman named Tank are always supporting me and making me feel loved. I have a greenhouse with chickens and gardens for flowers and veggies on our 7 acres. If I'm out and about, I just might be taking my 79' Jeep CJ 5 for a cruise to eat my weight in sushi or strolling the Upper East Side with a cup of Ralph's Coffee.

Man, it can be rough out there, but I’m just so happy you’re here.

Welcome.

Green has always been my color. It’s the color of my eyes, shifting in the light like leaves in the breeze. It’s the shade of my May birthstone, a quiet reminder of growth and renewal.

Green is everywhere. In the soft grass beneath bare feet, in the trees as they awaken in spring, stretching from pale new buds to the deep, rich hues of late summer. It’s the life force of flora, the essence of photosynthesis, the quiet hum of nature at work.

It’s also woven into my memories. the color of my youngest son’s favorite blanket, the one he clings to for comfort, and the same shade that fills my husband’s eyes when he looks at me. Even my first car, a Honda Civic, wore that color, carrying me through early adventures. Green is more than a favorite—it’s a thread through my life, a color that grounds me in every season.

What I love most about this space is connecting with my past, present, and future couples. That’s the heart of it all.

Hiiii I’m Shannon Bialy (/bye-lee/) a New England Wedding Photographer. Serving CT, NY, RI, and MA. But here’s what’s been going on outside of weddings:

I’m a wife and a mom of two boys, Cullen (7) and Carver (2). We’re currently knee deep in potty training Carver and I can’t wait to be on the other side, diaper and accident free. They are the sweetest boys but also the source of every grey hair I have 🤣

Tank is my almost 9 year old Doberman who is the biggest baby but also he’s kind of dumb and eats things that should have no business being inside his stomach. He’s had three obstruction surgeries and you can bet I am more traumatized than he is after each one. Reddit calls Dobermans dobergoats and they aren’t wrong.

I have 5 chickens and they currently live in half of my greenhouse in a beautiful chicken chalet, but their days are numbered in there, because there has been SO MUCH DUST all over the greenhouse that I can’t deal. They will be getting a new house built asap!

I love making lattes and practicing latte art. But I am currently doing my own version of dry January and taking a latte break from consuming milk. So chai tea with local honey it is.

An intimate wedding at a Newport mansion that will forever have my heart. Immediate family, a private chef dinner party, and a month long celebration stay is the way to do it✨

This year for my girlies Christmas party we decided to do an ornament white elephant so we can think of each other every time we decorate our trees. It was so hard to decide if I wanted to go the funny route, homemade or elegant. My ornament arrived yesterday for this weekend and let’s just say it’s obviously not homemade, but I think it’s the perfect blend of elegant and a good laugh. I can’t wait to see who ends up with it 🎄✨
